I have just read some very interesting books. So I will be writing a few book reviews within the next month or two in my ‘Ezine’ here.
The one I’ll review today was a Christmas gift from one of my daughters; I think she shared it with quite a few family members! I hope so!

We are finally getting cold weather–a bit like winter, but no real covering of snow yet. Still, it’s cozy sitting indoors with the bright shining tree.
It’s Christmas card time–writing notes on them and also opening the mail.

Early blessings. Two of my grandchildren, twins Tegan and Ronan, are staying with me this week, while their Mom and Dad and older brother, Julian, are hunting elk in our mountains.
Under a brilliant blue sky we wandered over to our neighborhood ice cream shop and sampled some new flavours. Salted butterscotch and chocolate sorbet were new to them. A sweet treat all around!

Finally, we seem to be cooling off–just a bit. The past week was in the 80’s instead of the record-breaking 90’s!
Even better, I see that the 70’s and 60’s are in the forecast by the end of this week. Maybe Fall is creeping in. Fall reminds me of our adventures in the Rockies when our family was young.
