Today is a banner day for me. My book is in the 4th draft–it’s going to the editor. Reviewers are still reading parts of it, and the cover design starts soon. It’s hard for me to believe; it will be published this year.
Some of you already knew I was writing a book for my coaching practice. Some may have guessed, because I have not been showing up for dancing in months. This is a full-time project.

Isn’t it always good to come home again–even if you’ve just sailed through some of the holiest and inspirational sites in the universe!
My enthusiasm and energy is bursting at the seams! And all this from 10 days in the wine, pasta and chocolate mecca of the world–Italy!
The real delights though are what happened when I let everything flow–no stops–being open to whatever came to me in the wonder of all the new things I was absorbing. So much of it was new experience, new challenges and thinking that pulled and stretched my beliefs–re-shaped them!

This past week has filled my heart with many happy memories. This may sound trite, because many of them revolve around my search for a bicycle to buy!
First, each person I told of my intention, offered at least one gem from their experience that spurred me eagerly on my journey.
Then I visited six bike shops around the Denver area. Everywhere I went, each person went out of their way to answer questions, suggest alternatives, give me important facts to consider and even to tell me where else I might look. I couldn’t believe the generosity. This was not just salesmanship!
What I experienced, was people putting their hearts, their expertise–their love into their work.
Get this! The week before, I thought I was in for a miserable stretch of bad luck. I flew back to Denver from vacation to two ‘parking tickets’ on my car within 36 hours!
Yes, I had been living a life of crime since March and didn’t even know it! My plates had been expired since then.
Although the next few days were expensive and busy–buying temporary tags, getting my car serviced in preparation for the emissions test, then back for the permanent plates, and finally paying off the tickets, I was amazed at the professionalism, quickness and kindness at each and every office.
I even had my tickets reduced by the referee judge! The smallest things that we do or say make a huge difference in the lives around us.
