Do It Anyway

It is sometimes sooo hard to be thoughtful and kind, especially when the atmosphere around us is stressful. Our snowfall today has all roads very slippery and accidents much more frequent.
I stood in awe this afternoon, watching a young man diffuse an extremely volatile traffic situation. With people around him completely out of control, he gently and quietly worked and maneuvered the emotional situation to a calm and agreeable conclusion.
Apparently, he had no vested interest in the outcome. He was patience and forgiveness. Inspiring!
Do It Anyway
Forgiveness can build peace, friendships or love.
The driver behind you leans on the horn–let it go.
A stranger barks at you for something unimportant.
Don’t dwell on it and be on your way.
A neighbor never returns your greeting. She may be suffering in her world.
Say a prayer for her.
Your spouse misunderstands your words and verbally attacks;
Explain, apologize and hug, hug, hug.
Stop the retaliation before it can escalate a situation.
If you are in the pain of loss, remember to forgive all around! You are hurting and very sensitive, so do not forget — forgive yourself too!
I have used this quote before. Enjoy it again!
Do It Anyway – Mother Theresa
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
* HAPPY VALENTINES DAY *
* MAY YOU FILL ALL YOUR DAYS WITH LOVE *
