This morning I spent some time going through pictures from my early years in high school and college. It was comforting re-living times and memories with old friends and reading early letters. Memories took me back to my senior year in college. It was an opportunity where I took a chance and ‘broke out of the mold’ a bit. I’m sure there might have been a few before then, though!

Gigi, my grand-puppy, and I walked the neighborhood today, somehow ending up at my favorite coffee house! They also carry Sweet Action, some of the best ice cream in town…
We had escaped a long day of being alone in a very warm house, for the blessed cool of the evening. We both reveled in the change–the relief of the lovely evening.

Snow has been forecast for tonight and tomorrow. This will be our first of the season for 2011, at least in my part of Denver. We’re moving into another season, one of the reasons that many of us live here!
Within my writing career, I am moving into a new ’season’ as well. I’ve just sent the proofs back to my printer. All the editing and changes are done! The book will be published within the next few weeks.
