This morning I spent some time going through pictures from my early years in high school and college. It was comforting re-living times and memories with old friends and reading early letters. Memories took me back to my senior year in college. It was an opportunity where I took a chance and ‘broke out of the mold’ a bit. I’m sure there might have been a few before then, though!
Gigi, my grand-puppy, and I walked the neighborhood today, somehow ending up at my favorite coffee house! They also carry Sweet Action, some of the best ice cream in town…
Do you feel the lack of caring and loving people in your life? Does an anchor of loneliness persist day after day?
Healing ourselves and healing our relationships are critical. Caring for ourselves is essential in attracting the care and love of others.
First, I want to thank you all for your support, referrals and inspiration in the publishing of my new book! It is selling well and consistently!
Tomorrow a newspaper is interviewing me. Tattered Cover Bookstore contacted me; they want to carry copies in all their stores! Several book-signings are being scheduled; if you would like to be involved and help, I would love it! Give me a call: 303-794-7824.
I trust the New Year is still bringing excitement, interesting new projects and much joy.
If you remember, in my last post, I quoted Anna Quindlen; she mused, “wouldn’t all of us love to have a journal, a memoir, a letter, from those we have loved and lost? Shouldn’t all of us leave a bit of that behind?”
Snow has been forecast for tonight and tomorrow. This will be our first of the season for 2011, at least in my part of Denver. We’re moving into another season, one of the reasons that many of us live here!
Within my writing career, I am moving into a new ’season’ as well. I’ve just sent the proofs back to my printer. All the editing and changes are done! The book will be published within the next few weeks.
Greetings! Just now as I walked back home from the gym, I was feeling so good. Don’t you feel like a new person after exercise? Maybe that is because the hard work is over! It is energizing and feels like fuel for the rest of the day. All systems are GO.
